A 3.5 Hour Live On-Line Workshop

Exploring your kinship with trees, the wisdom held in your body, and what it means to call yourself home.

mantree.jpeg

Trees have always been our kin.

Long before we had words for it, we felt it, standing at the edge of a forest, pressing a hand to bark, looking up into a canopy and feeling, somehow, less alone.

Trees breathe with us. They root in the same dark earth we come from, and they reach toward the same light we're always seeking.

They hold memory in their rings, weather storms without leaving the ground, and know how to let things die so something new can grow.

In many traditions across the world, trees are not just symbols of life, they are life, and they are our ancestors in the most literal sense. And just as we each carry a unique soul, there is a tree in this world that carries the same essential nature as yours, a soul tree, a living mirror of who you are at your deepest root.

When you find it, something in you recognizes it.

Something within you will feel the call to come home.

What is embodied trance work, and what will we be doing?

We have watched people walk into a room carrying something heavy. You can feel it. It is in the way they hold their shoulders, the way they breathe, the way they go quiet when asked how they are really doing.

And then the drum starts. Or a voice opens. Or the body begins to move in a way it has not been allowed to move in a long time.

Something shifts. It is not dramatic. It does not always look like anything from the outside. But something that was locked begins to loosen. Space opens up where there was no space before.

That is what sound and movement do. They are not performance and they are not technique. They are older than any method we could put a name to. The body already knows how to respond. We are just creating the conditions for it to remember.

In this workshop we use drumming, vocal sound, and intentional movement to guide your nervous system into a softer, more receptive state — naturally, without any substances. In that enlivened state, what has been accumulating — the grief, the tension, the things you have been carrying that were never yours to keep — begins to move.  And when it moves, it creates space.

We then fill that space with something vital and nourishing. Something that belongs to you.

You will stay conscious and present the whole time. This is not zoning out. It is tuning in more deeply than you may have in a long time.

Is This Workshop Right For You?

Has something in you been longing for more — more depth, more connection, more community, more of yourself?

Or have you simply never been given the tools to find your way back to yourself?

  • Do you feel the weight of these times and sense that your body is carrying more than it should?

  • Are you craving a connection to nature that goes beyond a walk in the woods?

  • Do you feel disconnected — from yourself, from the earth, from a sense of belonging or meaning?

  • Are you holding grief, heaviness, or old energy you're ready to release?

  • Have you always felt a strong pull toward trees, a love that is felt deeply but not easy to explain?

  • Does the idea of using sound and movement to shift your state feel like something your body already knows it needs?

  • Have you felt drawn to your ancestral roots or the living world without quite knowing what to do with it?

  • Are you ready to be guided, to be witnessed, and to let something in you come home?

You don't need any prior experience with trance work, shamanic practice, or somatic movement. You only need a willingness to show up and let your body lead.

**This workshop may not be right for you if you are currently in acute mental health crisis or without professional support. We hold safe and sacred space, but we are not therapists and this is not a substitute for clinical care.

Registration Process

This is our first offering together as The Tree Path, a collaboration born from years of practice, friendship, and a shared love of this work. In honor of that, we are offering this introductory workshop at $111.  You can split your payments into 4. There is an option at checkout to choose a payment plan.

We believe this work should be accessible. If that price is a barrier, a limited sliding scale option is available at a lower rate for those who are marginalized or navigating financial hardship. No explanation required,  simply choose the tier that is honest for you. However there are only 3 offerings. Once they are taken, they are taken.

*As The Tree Path grows and expands, pricing will reflect that. This is our way of beginning in community.

To register: Fill out the short form below and complete your payment at checkout.

Space is limited and intentional. We look forward to welcoming you in.

The work we’ll be doing in this retreat is deep, personal, and can feel tender and vulnerable. We’ll be working with voice, grief, creative expression, and ancestral memory with other than human beings, things that ask for presence, care, and vulnerability.

Every person shapes the energy of the group, which is why we ask each attendee to complete a short form.

This is not about proving anything or having it all figured out. It's not about being "good enough" or having the "right" experience. It’s about shared responsibility, making sure the space is held in a way that honors everyone inside it.

Your truth is welcome here. If you feel the call, we encourage to you sign up.

Meet Your Guides

Aimee Traeden

Seer, Ritualist & Threshold Guide

Aimee comes to this work with a deep respect for the unseen and the unspoken. For over a decade, she has tended the quiet spaces where voice meets grief, where memory lives in the bones, where the soul begins to stir after long silence.

Her practice has been shaped through devotion and lived experience, working closely with Seiðr, ancestral ritual, grief work, and voice reclamation. These are not things she teaches from the outside. They've moved through her, transformed her, and become part of how she walks in the world.

She is a Seer, Dreamer, Author, Artist, and Mystic trained in her cross-cultural ancestral lineages of Nordic Shamanism and Celtic Animism. She is the author of The Grief Tree and runs The Threshold Path, a spiritual mentorship practice guiding people through initiations and threshold moments.

What she offers is a steady, grounded container. She listens closely. She asks real questions. She holds space for what's tender, wild, strange, and true. She trusts your voice, even if you haven't heard it in a long time. She trusts what rises when we slow down and listen to what's been waiting.

There is power in gathering. There is power in being witnessed. And there is deep magic in letting your voice find its way home.
