I do not lead from ahead. I walk beside you — as we listen, as we unravel, as we find the thread again.

My path began with a death breath. I was born blue, not breathing. One foot in this world, one in the other. I have been walking between worlds my entire life.
I've walked with grief, with spirit, with what most people spend their lives trying to avoid — The darkness.
Over time, I stopped trying to fit myself into anyone else's version of the sacred. I turned toward my ancestors. Toward the dark.
The darkness is not evil. It's the womb, where we all come from. Where stars glow brightest and seeds overwinter before spring.
It's the threshold. The place of unbecoming before you become.
That's how I came home to myself. I know this place deep in my bones. It's from here, that I am able to guide others through the void. The place of the unknown.
